Mae West, is shown in her sumptuous Hollywood apartment as she recently discussed moral Rearmament with Dr. Frank Buchman, leader of that movement.

Buchman's Moral Armament campaign attracted many prominent Americans, including actress Mae West, who stated that she owed her success to the practice of the philosophy of Moral Rearmament. During a thirty minute discussion on August 19, 1939, West suggested that Buchman also make a call on film comedian W.C. Fields.
