Pennsylvania has breath-taking beauty combined with a historical legacy that is second to none in the country. We have an abundance of both right here in Norristown Farm Park. Located in East and West Norriton Townships and Norristown Borough, the main entrance is off Germantown Pike.
In 2001, more than 80,000 people visited this 700-acre park. The Farm Park is owned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is operated and maintained by Montgomery County. This unique relationship blends recreational opportunities and agricultural activities.
We offer the following activities at the Farm Park: hiking, biking, fishing, picnicking, jogging, skateboarding, roller blading/skating, wildlife viewing, nature, photography, dog walking, sledding and snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
Currently, there are 2 picnic pavilions that are available for your use. Each pavilion contains 14 picnic tables, able to seat up to 84 people, for a total of 168 people. Additionally, each pavilion has five charcoal grills. Groups, organizations and individuals wishing to reserve these pavilions for their function need to contact the Park Headquarters for dates and availability. Several rustic nature trails are available for the adventuresome.
