On October 7th, a coalition of 10 historic sites in Germantown will offer a neighborhood history lesson with a kick. Amid musket flashes and drum rolls, the many activities offered at The Revolutionary Germantown Festival will help your understanding of one of the most extraordinary neighborhoods in Pennsylvania. The Revolutionary Germantown Festival is a one-day event offering tours, demonstrations and story-telling. Purchase of a Festival "passport" for $10 (student and group rates available) provides a schedule of events, a self-guided tour map, and free admission to participating sites through December, 2006. A variety of specially designed bus tours explore the look and lifestyles of 18th century Germantown residents, the Battle of Germantown and its impact on the community.
