The Most Memorable Historic House Tour Ever! (A peek into the history of Wrightsville and Columbia)

For the first time, the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County and Historic York, Inc. have joined together and will host an Historic House tour unlike any other. Historically and architecturally significant homes and sites in both Wrightsville and Columbia have been carefully selected for this once-in-a-lifetime event.

A history of the time period will be portrayed by costumed re-enactors who will bring you back to a time when living was simple...or so it seemed. You may, on your travels with us, run into some interesting characters, such as John Wright or Thaddeus Stevens. They will be happy to tell you what it was like living in Columbia and Wrightsville during that time. Come, join us and take a step back in time on this very special historic jaunt into the history of Wrightsville and Columbia, Sunday, October 8, 2006 from noon to 5:00pm.
