Dear Sir,

I will see Mr Sterrett about the upcoming Fete.  He will submit to you the proposed arrangements and if we should be fortunate in selecting a fine day your assn. will be pleased with the exhibition of our Boys.

As regards the position of instructor I submit the following proposition. That I guarantee to learn any person with whom I make arrangements with, to Swim Sufficiently to take care of themselves, and to impart to them sufficient knowledge of the Advanced stages of Swimming and Floating that will warrant them to become proficient by practice. I place no limit upon the number of lessons. My Terms for this course of lessons are $10.00, I also give single lessons in (Advanced Swimming only) $050. per lesson. I can attend three or more days a week. If you can assist in getting pupils it will aid me very much untill [sic] I get better known in your district. I will not put your assn. to more than about $10.00 expense for apparatus. and [sic] during my presence I will look after the assn. welfare and do what I can to assist you.

July 6th would be a good day for the opening if you can have the board walk furnished and one dressing room ready.

I must come out and pay you a visit shortly and write up a description of the pool for the press.

Yours Respectfully,

Cha[rle]s Holroyd

PS Please let me know the best time to come out. I can come Saturday.
