One of American industry's failures during World War II was the SB2A Buccaneer dive bomber. Unfit for combat, the overweight "Brewster Blaster," was relegated to target towing and training duties. Today, a restored Buccaneer is on display in the National Museum of Naval Aviation located on Pensacola Naval Air Station.
