In 1941, the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra scored ten Top Ten hits, including "Dolores," a song from the film Las Vegas Nights that featured the orchestra's young new vocalist, Frank Sinatra. Sinatra would leave Dorsey in 1942 to start his solo career.
