Scientist talks over the airwaves to England.

In the early 1920s, Westinghouse pioneered shortwave radio transmission first in the United States and then internationally. Westinghouse vice president H.P. Davis led Westinghouse's broadcast initiatives. On March 15, 1924 his voice became the first to reach across the Atlantic by shortwave radio.
