Grif Teller's 1928 painting, When the Broad Way Meets the Dawn, depicts the moment when the PRR's luxury flagship, the Broadway Limited breaks into the daylight of a new morning on its eastbound trip from Chicago to New York in the Juniata River Valley. For 93 years this train was the leader of a fleet of upscale passenger trains. Today, Teller's image is displayed on Pennsylvania's historical preservation license plates.
