Sun in Summer, by Daniel Garber, 1919. A prominent Pennsylvania Impressionist, landscape Daniel Garber (1880-1958) taught at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts for forty-one years. He is best known for his landscapes of woods and quarries of Bucks County, where he lived on a farm outside of New Hope.
