David Zeisberger published several works in the Delaware tongue, including translations of hymns from German and English hymn-books of the Moravian Church and his Delaware Indian and English Spelling Book for the Schools of the Mission of the United Brethren, first published in 1776. Zeisberger’s personal journals and a Delaware grammar were published after his death.
