This photograph is of a working model of Daniel Drawbaugh's telephone submitted as an exhibit by People's Telephone Company in the court case brought against it by the American Bell Telephone Company and its subsidiaries. Bell Telephone would finally win its suit against Drawbaugh and the People's Telephone Company in 1888.
