After the 1968 season, the 76ers traded Wilt Chamberlain to the Los Angeles Lakers, who led them to the NBA Finals four times in his last five seasons in the NBA. In the 1971-72 season, Chamberlain, now 35, grabbed 19.2 rebounds per contest and helped the Lakers win the NBA title.
