For his growing family, William Wilson purchased this farmhouse with its outbuildings and 100 acres of land, near Blossburg, PA. Wilson named it Ferniegair, after the small town near his birthplace in Scotland. In 1937, three years after Wilson's death in 1934 the farm was sold to the American Legion Post No. 572 of Blossburg.
