In southeastern Pennsylvania, the name Nockamixon is synonymous with boating. Four public launching area are provided on the lake and boats may be rented from a park concession. Boats may use motors of 18 horsepower or less. Four public launching areas are provided on the lake. Launching facilities are open 24 hours a day.
In addition to having the largest launch ramp in the park, the Marina contains docking facilities for 576 boats up to 24 feet in length. There is also a 76-space dry storage for boats on trailers. Because of the demand for marina space, a waiting list is maintained at the park office for seasonal slips or dry storage spaces.
Over 300 picnic tables, ample parking areas and modern restrooms are available April 1 to October 31. Picnic facilities are also available year round at Haycock Launch Ramp.
The 2.8 mile bicycle trail and 20 miles of equestrian trails are available for riding in the park. Horses may be rented at a private establishment near the park.
Anglers will be able to test their skills against an assortment of warm water species. The fishing pier located at the mid-point of the lake is especially convenient for people with disabilities.
Located on the south side of Lake Nockamixon, ten modern family cabins are available for rentals throughout the year. There are two cabins available for rental that are handicapped accessible.

Ice skating and ice fishing activities are permitted on the frozen lake surface when conditions are suitable. Ice conditions are only monitored in the immediate area of the launch ramps at Three Mile Run and Haycock.
