1. Students may investigate the local library to watch the remaining videos of swing and jazz. 2. Students may look at home or at local garage sales/thrift stores for records of jazz artists. 3. Students may learn dance steps for this time period in U. S. History and demonstrate to the class. 4. Students may make posters advertising a swing concert in their own hometown. Investigate where music was performed in their hometown (what theaters, restaurants, etc., would have had live music). 5.
