According to the coroner s report, Fannie Sellins' death during the 1919 Allegheny Miner's Strike was cause by two gunshot wounds to the head. The autopsy also found skull fractures, indicating that the unarmed Sellins was beaten during the melee. Despite numerous witnesses, Sellins' murderer was never brought to justice.
