While many Christian missionaries needed interpreters to speak to Indians, Zeisberger and his fellow Moravians learned native languages so that they could preach in their audiences" native tongue. Charles Schussele painted this dramatic scene of Zeisberger preaching among the Delaware, titled Power of Gospel, in 1862.
