Guerrier Iroquois (Iroquois Warrior). Many Indian men, women, and children attended treaty conferences because they expected to receive diplomatic "presents" from their colonial hosts. The warrior depicted here has been outfitted with a European musket, hatchet, pipe tomahawk, peace medal, and clasp knife.
