Oxford Abbot's Dairy, 1914 Farmers bringing milk, the beginning of Grade A milk.

By the early 1900s, Pennsylvania dairy farmers were well along in the shift from cheese and butter making to the provision of fresh milk. In this 1914 photograph, farmers are bringing their milk to the Abbott's Diary in Oxford, to be processed into Grade "A" milk and then shipped to market by railroad.
