Construction on the Tunkhannock Viaduct postcard.

Temporary towers and cables allowed workers to ferry construction materials across wide expanses while the bridge was under construction. The engineers built the concrete arches around massive wooden false-work forms called "centers," which were removed after the concrete cured.
