One of the most talented and successful editors of his generation, George Horace Lorimer served as editor-in-chief of The Saturday Evening Post from 1899 until 1936. Under his leadership, the magazine achieved a circulation of a million by 1908 and three million by the late 1920s. Lorimer also served as president and chairman of Curtis Publishing Company.
