Built for York's Christ Lutheran Church in 1804, this one manual, pedaled instrument of 13 ranks is the last organ built by David Tannenberg. The organ won national recognition in 1960 after the release of E. Power Biggs' The Organ in America, which featured the Tannenberg organ on more than half the LP recording. A restoration of the organ to its original condition was completed in 1991.
