After arriving in Pennsylvania from Holland in 1749, David Tannenberg, then a 21-year-old carpenter, lived for close to five years at the Burnside plantation in Bethlehem. Built in 1748, the Burnside house is today maintained by the Historic Bethlehem Partnership.
