The Thaddeus Stevens Statue was installed in 2008 at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in Lancaster, PA. The adolescent boy who stands next to Stevens represents the thousands of financially disadvantaged young people who have broken the cycle of poverty into which they were born through the free education they received at the school.
