After graduating from University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1927, Sadie Alexander joined her husband Raymond in one of the earliest husband-wife legal teams in the United States. The Alexander's legal partnership lasted until 1959, when Raymond became a judge for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
