Town plan

In 1853, religious leader Peter Armstrong filed this plot map of the proposed town of Celestia with the County Clerk in Latrobe, the county seat of Sullivan County. Armstrong was able to sell more than a hundred 20 by 100-foot lots to his followers, but the small struggled to survive and by 1887 had ceased to exist.
