This mural celebrates the courageous work of Harriet Tubman and Philadelphian-Area Abolitionist who helped make freedom a reality for hundreds of slaves escaping to the North.

This mural at 908 Chestnut Street, which celebrated the courageous work of Harriet Tubman and Philadelphian-area abolitionists, including William Still, Lucretia Mott, Robert Purvis, and Jacob Blockson, was lost when its building was demolished in 2002.
