The Crozer Theological Seminary operated in Upland, Pennsylvania, from 1868 until it merged with the ecumenical Colgate-Rochester Seminary and moved to Rochester, New York in 1970. The original building, constructed in 1857 by John P. Crozer as a Normal School, still stands as a part of the Crozer Chester Medical Center campus. Martin Luther King, Jr. attended the Crozer Seminary from 1948-1951.
