Opened in 1904, the Lightning Guider Sled Works factory in Duncannon, PA, produced children's snow sleds and wagons, sled guards, porch and stair gates, and wooden porch swings. In 1920 the plant was credited with producing more children's sleds than any other factory in the nation. The plant closed in 1990.
