5th Green at the Foxburg Gold Course

After experiencing the game of golf in Scotland, Philadelphia lawyer John Fox in 1887 developed a five hole course on a pasture near his family's estate 55 miles north of Pittsburgh. Expanded to nine holes in 1888, Foxburg has been in continuous use longer than any other golf course in the United States.
