Interior of the Hershey Sports Arena

Constructed in 1936 to be home for the Hershey Bears professional hockey team, the Hershey Sports Arena was the first American arena built primarily for ice hockey. Constructed with the first thin concrete dome in North America, the Arena's outstanding features included unobstructed views and a modern sound system.
