Several of the mine buildings, power house, tipple, coke yard and the Mt. Pleasant Supply Company store are shown in this early post card of Morewood.

Located a short distance west of Mt. Pleasant, PA, the Morewood No. 1 Mine and Coke Works by the 1910s included 311 bee-hive coke ovens. This postcard shows several of the mine buildings, a power house, tipple, coke yard, and the Mt. Pleasant Supply Company store.
