Stahl's redwear pottery was first manufactured in 1850 by Charles Stahl. Today, the Stahl Pottery Preservation Society works to preserve the art and tradition of redwear pottery. The site includes the home of Thomas and Alice Stahl, several wood fired beehive ovens, a kiln and several pottery buildings that were used for various pottery making functions.
