Enjoy fresh baked breads and pies, locally grown produce, and purchase hand-crafted items. The market runs every Saturday from May through the end of September and is open from 8:00 A.M. to noon. Past vendors included: Nolt's Produce and Crafts of Mount Joy, which features hand-crafted wooded furniture and country furnishings and crafts; Prescott's Patch with their famous organic, locally grown produce; Clyde Peters' beautiful cut flowers; Phil Nolt's fruit and vegetable stand, which includes which offers a large variety of vegetables and fruit and fresh baked goods; J&J Growers and their vegetable plants, flowers, shrubs and birdhouses; Organic Willow Acres with their wet-bottom shoo-fly pie, whoopee pies, canned goods and vegetables; and Hoffine's Produce with their legendary home-grown cantaloupes, sweet corn, and watermelon. The Farmers Market is located under the portico at Union National Community Bank at the corner of Main Street (Route 230) and Barbara Street. There is plenty of free parking available to shoppers and many of the downtown stores are open during market hours for visitors who want to continue shopping in the quaint downtown shops.
