While much of the historical material on our page covers our service area, Conestoga, Manor, Martic, Pequea Townships and Millersville and Washington Boro, there are also materials of a more general interest. We have articles on the Conestoga Wagon, Two Civil War Soldiers tells the story of two African Americans who violated Pa. law to enlist in the Pa. Militia. In addition, our Proudly They Served folder lists thousands of people who served in the various wars from our area and History in Newspapers covers news account of historical events in our area as well as a large number of obituaries and marriages for genealogists. Society houses an upstairs museum featuring a Conestoga Wagon on display. Downstairs gallery features revolving exhibts. Other buildings on site include a Blacksmith Shop, Atkinson log house, Cellar Museum Gift Shoppe and Harnish Stone House. Mid April - December, Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
